Tottenham secured their first home win of the season in emphatic fashion as nine-man Liverpool were routed 4-0 at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Harry Redknapp's side, who lost 5-1 to Manchester City in their last home outing, took the lead early in the first half through Luka Modric's superb strike before Liverpool duo Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel were sent off either side of half-time.

Jermain Defoe made it 2-0 and Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor, on loan from Manchester City, struck twice to take his tally for the club to three in two games.
The defeat was the heaviest suffered by Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish since he began his second spell in charge in January, as well as the biggest Spurs success against the Reds since 1963.
Tottenham took the lead in the seventh minute when Croatia midfielder Modric slammed a blistering shot into the top corner of Reina's goal.
Scottish midfielder Adam was dismissed in the 28th minute after earning a second booking with a foul on Scott Parker.

Any thoughts that Liverpool could still avoid a second successive defeat were erased when Skrtel was sent off in the 63rd minute for a second booking after clattering Gareth Bale.
Tottenham took full advantage of their numerical superiority. Defoe ran clear to score in the 66th minute and Adebayor tapped in after Reina spilled Defoe's shot two minutes later before blasting home from close-range in stoppage time.

OMG!...
